What is Yarn Bombing?
Yarn bombing is a temporary public art installation in which an object (bike rack, tree, railing, etc) is covered in crochet or knitted material. You can find our installations periodically in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.
Using donated materials and powered by volunteers, we organize yarn bombing installations with permission from the city and land owners. Some of our yarn bombing events are open for public participation; others are organized through our volunteer network.
